My Past Projects

Functioning Ecosystems and Biodiversity
Project Topics
These projects were focused on gaining some background understanding into how ecosystems function, the flow of energy through the trophic pyramid and the connection and dependence between all biota within a habitat.

Carbon Sinks
Project Topic
This project focuses on carbon sinks and the different variation, how they function to store carbon and their importance to our changing world and climate.

The Murray Darling Basin and The Snowy Hydro
Project Topics
These projects acted as case studies in understanding river systems, particularly the habitats, disturbances from invasive species to pesticides and their geographical and environmental functions. These topics also introduces factors such as utilising environmental recourses through renewable energy.
Land Management and Conservation
Project Topic
This particular project opened up a new perspective of environmental science looking more towards the agricultural dynamic of conservation. This topic introduced land management through a farming perspective looking at topics such as soil and water health, wildlife corridors and their benefits on livestock as well as the pros and cons of pesticides on crop yields.
